Benesse UK is proud to be a member of the APPG for a Fit and Health Childhood
We are delighted to be an active member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for a Fit and Healthy Childhood.
This group promotes evidence-based discussion and produces reports on all aspects of childhood health and wellbeing, including obesity, to inform policy decisions and public debate relating to childhood, and to enable communications between interested parties and relevant parliamentarians.
From 24 November – 15 December 2017, we are co-ordinating written evidence submissions from its clients and other interested parties as part of its contribution towards a report the group has been commissioned to produce which attempts to understand the impact of social and economic inequalities on Children’s Heath.
Benesse UK is particularly interested in receiving evidence that demonstrates partnership-working, including data sharing between local authorities, industry and the voluntary sector to combat social and economic inequalities and boost child health outcomes.
If you are interested in contributing towards the discussion, please contact us for a discussion or email us any information or evidence you feel may be relevant to the report and we will contact you.
