Phil is an ACMA qualified business accountant and has worked with Benesse UK on a number of investment projects and business plans since 2016.

Having worked on a number of mergers, acquisitions and business disposals, Phil has developed an insight and acumen for identifying opportunities and risks within a business and provides sound, simple solutions to maximise performance and returns.

Phil is an experienced, energetic, highly commercial and strategic thinking Finance Director with a track record of embedding robust financial governance to transform business and financial operations.

 

His key strengths include designing and implementing financial and operational systems; analysing the financial merits of commercial activities and playing a major role in shaping business strategy; assembling and leading high-performing finance teams, as well as establishing sound team structures and financial management capability; and spearheading corporate finance activities. 

Phil worked as Finance Director for golf, leisure and healthcare provider Mytime Active before moving to a role at the FD Centre.

 

He is a keen rugby fan and also a regular at the gym.
