Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Andrew worked within the youth employability sector for 12 years.
He focuses on leading projects that inspire and invigorate young people to adapt their skills and experiences to be able to move into employment, education or training.
He also has high levels of experience in evaluating projects, and a high success rate of winning funds to deliver projects which meet the needs of the local community.
Andrew recently led on the influential ‘Barriers to Employment for Young People’ research project in 2017 and an evaluation project for the Princes Trust in 2018.
He has also recently worked on two mentoring schemes for young people - the Big Lottery Funded national project ‘Talent Match’, and the mentoring schemes run by the University of East London.
Andrew is trained in calculating Social Value and is a fully qualified teacher and trained careers adviser.
